Rosemary Palmer's Memorial Event on 16 May, 2015

We were pleased to welcome some 60 friends, students, colleagues and family members to our event  to celebrate the life of Rosemary Palmer who sadly died in October last year at the age of 89 years.

Our guest speakers- Carol Leather, David  McLoughlin, David  Grant -leading dyslexia specialists, and  Kate Saunders from the British Dyslexia Association,  spoke of Rosemary's passion  for helping those with dyslexia and also developments in research  and measures to increase awareness and understanding of dyslexia which she very much supported.

Over afternoon tea, guests reminisced about Rosemary's full and active life and her  many achievements, including her teaching activities in the West London area.  She is sadly missed by the Association and her spirit will live on as we continue our work in the local community.
